We’re Looking For New Senior Reps!

Calling all 2012 Seniors! It’s that time again – we’re looking for new Senior Representatives to be a part of our studio family this year. We have put together a new program with different guidelines that we think will work well for the upcoming seniors. And guess what? We want you to be a part of it! Instead of choosing one large group of representatives for the year, we’ve decided to give more of you the opportunity to be a rep for us by selecting 2 new students every month and rotating the portraits in the mall more often. Oh, and there’s more! If you’re chosen to be a Turba Rep, you’ll receive your first session (with one outfit) free! You’ll also get 96 free wallets, a 20% discount on additional senior sessions and orders, and the opportunity to purchase your display prints after they come down from the mall! If you’re interested in the program, send us your information at either our studio address (106 S. Broadway, De Pere) or our email turba@turbaphoto.com. We’re currently holding interviews, so get a hold of us today to secure your spot!

Take a look below at some of our 2011 reps for ideas. We can work your personality and style into your senior photos, so contact us today to become part of the Turba team!

Come Visit Us at Green Bay’s Annual Wedding Show!

This Friday January 7th and Saturday January 8th is the annual Wedding Show at Shopko Hall in Green Bay. Of course – we wouldn’t miss it for the world! We’ll be set up and ready to answer any questions you may have about our wedding photography packages. Make sure to stop by our booth – we’ll not only be speaking with the local brides about their special day, but we’re also running a contest with our photobooth too! So don’t forget to peek in on us, and take part in this unique contest – all you need to qualify is a good attitude and some flair! Oh, and just so you know – the prize is to die for but you have to attend to be eligible. (So make sure to take a look at the poster below for details).

Beware! Turba Has a Spooky New Set!

Here at Turba, we like to have fun with portraits, so it should be no surprise that we’re preparing for the Autumn and Halloween seasons. We just built a new set to accommodate both of these popular themes, ready for you to bring in your trick-or-treater to capture some spooky (but adorable) moments! Including hay bails, pumpkins, along with some chilling Halloween inspired props, we’re ready to take portraits of your little ones that you’ll cherish for years to come! So bring in your ghosts and goblins for the De Pere Trick or Treat through the business on Saturday, October 30th from 10am-12 Noon to view it for yourself! You’ll be blown away by this truly inspiring scene!

Let Turba Make Your Team Picture Extraordinary

We had the pleasure of shooting the Wrightstown High School volleyball and football teams recently – and were able to work a bit outside the standard “team picture” box. We had a blast with both teams – and got to start things off with the volleyball girls. We did some head shots and a few group images in the school gym, but then headed to a local quarry to shoot some more. We were inspired by the volleyball saying “Ya Dig It” and posed the girls with shovels to play into the theme. The photos and final collage turned out fantastic – they are definitely not your ordinary school sports team photos!

Next up we shot the Tiger’s football team in their brand new stadium. It was an amazing fall night with a stunning sky to some drama. We had so much fun shooting the team on their new home turf, and making it special not only for them, but the entire community.

Your team can pick a location of their choice, and we’ll take individual photos along with fun group shots. We’ll also design a one-of-a-kind collage for your team, so you can keep your school pride close to you for years to come! This is the start of something big… so call us in De Pere at 336-6700 or Manitowoc at 682-4102 to book your FREE team session today!

Time to Distress the Dress!

Team Turba pulled out all the stops for this truly exciting session. Our model Jen wanted something “bold” and “unique” for photos with her prom dress. We started at our De Pere studio with a fresh makeup application by Hether Vande Vort from The Spa Loft. We then packed two photographers, a videographer, an art director, a stunning subject (Jen) and lots of equipment in to the vehicle. For this specific shoot, we decided to use the natural beauty of Fonferek Park here in Green Bay as well as Bay Beach‘s fun and energetic environment. Lucky for us, Jen was open to just about anything we suggested. She was up in trees, sitting on rocks in the stream and enjoying the rides at Bay Beach, all while looking stunning in a white prom dress. Curious to see images from this stand-out shoot? You should be! Take a look at the shots below to get inspired for your very own Distress the Dress session with turbaphoto!
